This table runner is the result of a fun week of PLAYING WITH TEXTURE as part of my holiday break. I went in with no plans other than the desire to highlight the beauty of natural fibers grown as sustainably as I can find, naturally colored with dyes of the earth. I used yarn from my stash that I'd been holding onto from previous dye experiments, or small lots of independent yarn manufacturers.
Warp: USA grown organic cotton
Weft: 55% European tow linen and 45% USA-grown cotton, spun and dyed in the USA
Dimensions: 12" x 72"
